I dont do much super speedway racing and the last time i did one i got wrecked entering pits.
So on the first stop i decided i wouldnt pit with lead group and stayed out an extra lap.
Was a dumb idea though because the leaders just drafted back by me and i didnt have the speed to get in their draft.

Had fun trying to close the gap down with the help of Shane.

Then with a few laps to go got some help from Randy.
I thought about not passing Chris and allowing him to get 3rd for the points but the racer in me made me want to try and get the pass.

I hear ya about speedway racing. This was actually my first official race at Talladega.

Was hanging with the lead pack till it was time to pit. Was going to pit with the lead pack, but ended up pitting one lap later due to miscommunication. My tandem partner Randy got a speeding penalty and we got separated so I was out to dry for several laps. Finally picked up Tim last few laps. Thanks Tim for letting me have 6th.

Lol I made many mistakes but still had a blast. I guess my 1st one was not paying attention to my relative box and thought Tim was pushing me when I heard him say he needed to switch up. Well my pusher Randy must have thought "What the heck is this knucklehead doing" Than I overshot my pit in the 1st round and had to back up. Well that's all she wrote after that. And last but not least I misjudged my splash at the last and didn't get enough to finish and had to go back in on lap 65.
