Ok cool. So now I just need to learn to drive the dam thing lol. This car is a real beast in dirty air. I got a dump truck that doesn't aero-push this bad and that's using the VRS setup. Least we all got the same issue though so we can all cry on each others shoulder lol.
Cheers!!!

Lol..haven’t ran that car yet. I’ve been turning a few laps with the truck at Michigan and other tracks. Do you subscribe to VRS? If so, has it helped you any?
Re: 2018 Indy 500
Yeah I don't run Indy car either other than I try running the 500 every year and have yet to even finish one yet. Always end up aero-pushing and wrecking into the wall on corner exit.
No Tim I don't. I just spent $5 to get the Indy setup. As far as that setup goes it's a lot better than the guy driving it and I thought it had lots of speed(for my split) considering my inexperience in that car. My race practice speed in practice was good for a top 15 starting spot. I never used VRS qualifying setup.
Personally though I think VRS is overly expensive at $99 if you wanna unlock everything. And they don't offer Oval only or a Road only sub. FWIW I would only use VRS for the setup as I don't have the time for coaching and all other things it offers. If you had time for all extras outside of setup though $99 is pretty cheap likely.

Re: 2018 Indy 500
What do you mean by Dynamic track? If you are intending to let the simulation set the starting state I would not advise it. My vote is to pick a starting state and decide whether you want to clean marbles. My vote is for not cleaning marbles.
I see you have iRacing default weather which is good since the fixed setups are designed using default weather.
If anyone has any questions, let me know. I have a little experience in this car.
When we get closer to the event, I will host some extra practice/training sessions if there is interest.

Re: 2018 Indy 500
I used random track for the Xfinity series without problems. Race setup did feel a little different than practice during the week but was still good. Adds to the realism i think. Let us know about training/practice session. Thanks..
Re: 2018 Indy 500
Damn, I just noticed the date. I will be on vacation in Minnesota for the race. Good luck everyone.
