Changes to our League for next season

I will remove or tweak our bonus system.

Would almost have to use the Formula 1 points system.....10 points to the winner, then 6, 4, 3, 2, 1, would have to do something so that everyone who races gets points though.  Or even the old Nascar scoring system, where the winner gets 180 points and drops from there.

Shane, I think the iRacing points system will be a better system than the Nascar system we are using now. The iRacing system awards points based on how many cars are in the race and not the 1-43 grid we are using now. We will be testing the iRacing system with the truck series this fall. Look at the iRacing point system at the league sessions page and compare it with 1-43 system on our forum. Thanks for your input and keep it coming....

We will be using the iRacing points system starting with the Truck series this fall. The iRacing system awards points based on how many drivers are in the race and not the 1-43 system we are using now

(1) We will continue with a trophy for both the Truck and the Nationwide championship. I would like to add a Charlotte 600 middle of season race with 100-125 laps.

(2) Maybe a longer season?


(3) Schedule races with Nascar schedule?


(4) Better points system? (iRacing league points)


(5) Race broadcast in the next season or two?


(6) Use points for regular season for championship? Chase or no chase?


(7) Add an Indy 500 race to our league schedule.
